An underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism) can cause weight gain, fatigue, and other issues that become major roadblocks to weight loss. Proper testing can identify any thyroid dysfunction. Often, reducing inflammation in the body helps restore normal thyroid function, naturally enhancing metabolism and energy levels.
